Project
Distributed Computing System

Research Interests and Some Personal Info.
My area of interest includes cooperation mechanisms of distributed programs, distributed real-time systems, and network QoS control. Editor of the IEICE Transactions on Communications.

Project Summary
We will undertake research on distributed processing and control which application of distributed processing to telecommunications systems control, and response and delay time control of distributed processes.
Possible research themes are distributed environment including coordination mechanisms of distributed processes and development support mechanisms, to be used to control telecommunications systems

"Distributed Computing System"
Studies will focus on distributed processing and control technology that serves as the foundation of communications system control. Specific themes will highlight distributed processing/development in terms of:

a. Understanding requirements and conditions of standardization targets
b. Searching and suggesting technologies for alleviate difficulty in developing distributed applications
c. Implementation of distributed network applications.

The coverage includes the platform, distributed processing language, distribution object requirements, distribution control system architecture, active network, stream control, response /delay time control and so on.

Biographical Information
I developed signaling equipment and supervisory-and-testing equipment of public telephony switches, distributed environment for telecommunications systems, and communications quality control mechanisms at Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. I investigated real-time systems scheduling and concurrency control at University of Illinois.
