Waseda University provides a wide array of scholarship opportunities for international students enrolled in regular programs. There are intramural scholarship programs and extramural scholarship programs funded by governmental organizations, private foundations, etc. Some of the extramural scholarships require a university recommendation for application, and some can be directly applied for. Most scholarships target students who have been officially admitted to or already enrolled in a school. The following is a list of major scholarships which were advertised in the past few years. (Please note that these scholarships are not necessarily available every year and conditions are subject to change.) Information on available scholarships is announced to students through bulletin boards on campus.
