Question I would like to know what time classes are available.
Answer Classes are available from Monday to Saturday. The first period starts at 9:00 in the morning. The last period starts at19:55 and ends at 21:25.

Question I would like to apply for GITS though I am working at a company. Would it be possible to obtain necessary credits for completion by attending only the class conducted in the nighttime and on the weekends?
Answer GITS gives classes from the1st period (starting from 9:00 am) to the 7th period (starting from 19:55 to 21:25). It is possible for a working person to attend the class in the 6th and 7th period. It might be necessary to make out the registration schedule according to the GITS timetable and the curriculum. In the event that a working person continues studying, his or her motivation and commitment, and understanding of the company are quite essential. Application would be appreciated after careful consideration.

Question Would it be possible to audit the subjects offered by other graduate schools?
Answer Yes. GITS approves students to register for up to 4 subjects (8 credits) offered by other graduate schools.

Question I would like to register for a Japanese language course.
Answer You will be able to register for a Japanese language course conducted by the Center for Japanese Language of Waseda University. Please note that all the courses are pay-programs.

Question Would it be possible to change the course and the supervisor after enrollment?
Answer In the event that the change is deemed just and necessary, it may be approved.

Question A health certificate format is not included in the application packet. Do you have prescribed format? What examination items are necessary?
Answer A health certificate is free format. Please submit the certificate issued by a medical doctor or a hospital. The examination results of eyesight, hearing, TB (chest X-ray), and other diseases and abnormalities must be included.

Question How many subjects should I register for each semester?
Answer Requirements for completion vary depending on the course you belong to. It is important to work out the registration schedule after confirming the requirements for completion.

Question Would it be possible to cancel the subjects once registered for?
Answer In the event that the necessary procedure is completed during the designated period, additions and cancellation of the subjects may be approved.

Question Where are textbooks and class materials available?
Answer Textbooks are available at Coop Plaza Life Center (1st floor) of student cooperative or major bookstores.

Question Would it be possible to remit tuition and fees from overseas?
Answer No. Please remit payment into Waseda University bank account at the bank counter using the application for remittance of tuition and fees.

Question Would it be possible to use an ATM (automated-teller machine) when paying tuition and fees?
Answer No. Please do not use an ATM for this purpose.
