GITS has two campuses, namely Honjo Campus (Honjo-city, Saitama) and Waseda Campus (Shinjuku-Ward, Tokyo), where the education activity is carried out. In addition, GITS has a research base in Yokosuka Research Park (YRP) in Yokosuka-City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
Kanto area, where these campuses are situated, is the central area of Japan’s politic and economy and has abundance of big cities and industrial lands. In addition, the regional transportation network of highways and railways are well developed, and it is boasted for its world class convenience.
Although the distance between Honjo campus and Waseda campus is 80km, but they are connected by highways and railways. Therefore, travel time between the campuses takes only approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

HonjoWaseda Research Park, surrounded by green forest natural environment, is situated at the outskirt of Honjo-City, north of Saitama Prefecture and is accessible only by 3 minutes’ walk from Honjo-Waseda Station via Joetsu/Nagano Shinkansen (approximately 1 hour from Tokyo). GITS Honjo Campus is situated inside Honjo-Waseda Research Park. Beside the classrooms, laboratories and offices in the campus, incubation rooms are established at the next building, where local venture corporations actively expand the new businesses in the field of ICT. A dormitory mainly for foreign students, “Honjo Dormitory”, is built directly inside hilly green area in front the classroom/office building, is surrounded by grove of trees. There are approximately 50 foreign students staying in the dormitory. In addition, accommodation for married foreign students is also available. Down from the other side of the hilly area is “Waseda University Art and Science Center”, that is famous for its world-class experimental studios of digital movie. Some famous films produced by Japan’s leading film production company like “Spy Sorge”(2004), “Japan Sinks”(2006) and “I'd rather be a Shellfish”(2008) and etc. are born here. GITS Waseda Campus is located in the grounds of the campus of Waseda University, Shinjuku, Tokyo, which is a good place where it takes 5 minutes by walk from Waseda station of Tokyo Metro Tozal Line, or takes JR Yamanote Line to Takadanobaba station and then transfers to bus to Nish-Waseda bus stop . From the bust stop, it takes only 1 minute by walk. In GITS Waseda Campus, there are classrooms, offices (Branches), and research laboratories, and most of the classrooms and conference rooms are connected to Honjo Campus by TV-conference systems. As for the lecture given in both campuses of Honjo / Waseda, students from both sides can attend the lectures via the systems. The campus of Waseda University, with over 40,000 students attending, are lined with historically precious buildings such as the Okuma Auditorium with the famous clock tower, and the Theater Museum, to form a beautiful urban university campus. GITS faculties and students have actively held many events such as conferences and symposia by using those substantial facilities and the beneficial geographical conditions. Yokosuka Research Park

GITS/GITI have a research center in the Yokosuka Research Park (YRP) in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture. It takes about 1 hour by taking Keihin-kyuko line (with limited-express/ordinary transfer) to YRP Nobi station, and then about 20 minutes by taking bus bound for Yokosuka Research Park. YRP is an accumulation area of the eminent information and telecommunications-related companies in Japan, which are lined with, NTT Yokosuka Telecommunications Laboratory and laboratories from major Japanese companies. Here GITS/GITI started joint researches with many companies, working on advanced human resources development of information and telecommunications with the local communities.
